Tour Schedule

Day - 1Arrival & Sightseeing at Jammu Pick up from Jammu Airport/Railway Station and transfer to hotel. Visit the famous Raghunath Ji Temple, Bawe Wali Mata, Amar Palace & Museum, Bagh-e-Bahu etc. Overnight stay at Jammu.

Day - 2Mata Vaishno Devi darshan’s After breakfast Early morning, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Trek down to Katra after darshan’s. Overnight stay at Katra.

Day - 3Patnitop After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Patnitop, a famous Hill Station (110 Kms from Jammu). You will pass through town of Udhampur and first hill resort of this Circuit, Kud (1738 m). It is picturesque town located just 6 Km short of Patnitop. You can have Tea and refreshment here. Patnitop is a famous hill resort perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 metres across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. Check into the hotel. In the after noon, proceed for Sanasar (25 Kms from Patnitop) which is a cup shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. En route visit Nathatop, another famous tourist point. Back to Patnitop in the evening. Overnight stay at Patnitop.

Day - 4 Proceed for Pahalgam Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Pahalgam (170 Kms) which is around 5-6 hours drive from Patnitop. Pahalgam was once the most popular hill station for the Indian Film Industry. This place is famous for its rich scenic beauty, healthy climate, vast meadows, adventure tourism and its breathtaking views. Enjoy the view of picturesque mountains and the river ‘Lidder’ while on the way to Pahalgam. Check into the hotel in the afternoon. If time permits, explore places around Pahalgam like Betab Valey, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by hiring a local taxi as outside tourist vehicles are not allowed there. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Day - 5Proceed for Srinagar & Local Sightseeing Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Srinagar. Check into the houseboat. Visit the famous Shankryacharya Temple, Mughal Gardens viz; Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashma Shahi etc. and other tourist points like Pari Mahal, Botanical Garden, Nehru Park etc. Enjoy Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Have evening walk through Boulevard Road on the banks of Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day - 6Gulmarg After breakfast, check out from the houseboat & transfer to hotel. Thereafter, proceed for Gulmarg (54 Kms) which is the most famous & scenic hill resort of Kashmir. Free at leisure for rest of the day. You may enjoy horse riding on plush meadows. Have Gandola ride upto the peak heights of Khilanmarg for which tickets are available at J&K State Cable Car Corporation office in Gulmarg. Advance Gondola tickets may also be purchased from Tourist Reception Center (TRC), Srinagar or same may be booked online to avoid standing in long queues at ticket counters in Gulmarg. Back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day - 7Sonamarg After breakfast, proceed for Sonamarg which is situated at a distance of 85 Kms from Srinagar on the Srinagar-Ladakh Road. The road passes through the picturesque town of Ganderbal (21 kms) & Kangan (40 kms) before reaching Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg, which means ‘ meadow of gold ‘ has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that flows through the valley abounds with trout. You may enjoy Pony ride while going to Thajiwas Glacier. Back to Srinagar in the evening. En route, visit the famous Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmulla village which is constructed over a sacred spring & is dedicated to Goddess Ragynea Bhagwati. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day - 8Departure After breakfast, check out from the houseboat & drop at Airport for return journey. In case of departure from Jammu, proceed for Jammu in the early morning and drop at Railway Station.
